Amidst the row between the director and scriptwriter about the ownership of the story, the shoot for the new Dileep movie ‘Aagathan’ got completed, this week. Featuring Tamil actor Sathyaraj, Zarina Wahab, Dileep and Charmi in important roles, the movie was shot by Ajayan Vincent at Ootty, Kambam, Theni, Coorg, Pollachi, Bangalore and Sreenagar.

Produced by Maya Media entertainments, the movie is based on a story by the director Kamal, written to suit the screen by Kalavoor Ravikumar. ‘Aagathan’ will also feature Lal, Biju Menon, Innocent, Babu Namboodhiri, Dinesh, Majid, Shilpa Bala, Reena Basheer, and Ambika Mohan in other important roles.

Earlier this week, it had been reported in some media about scriptwriter Ravikumar having some major issues with director Kamal regarding the story ownership of ‘Aagathan’. It was said that while the director Kamal acknowledged it as his own, Ravikumar was insisting that the entire story was his. Later Ravikumar made it clear that all the reported issues about the story were just rumors, and that there was no problem whatsoever between the writer and director who were together for many films in the last few years including 'Nammal' and 'Goal'.
